(KSL News) -- A Democratic state representative, who's served for 12 years, has resigned her seat from the Utah House effective tomorrow.
Representative Judy Ann Buffmire of Salt Lake City was not seeking re-election. And she isn't saying specifically why she's stepping down early.
Buffmire is a psychologist, and has served on the Health and Human Services, Revenue and Taxation, and Rules Standing Committees, as well as the Public Education Appropriations Subcommittee.
