(KSL News) -- One man is now in custody in Tooele, after allegedly stealing a car and leading Tooele City Police on a high speed chase.

The person who owned the stolen car noticed it was being driven in Tooele. He called police and started following it.

The UHP Trooper says speeds reached 100 miles per hour through residential areas and school areas.

The chase ended in Stansbury in a head on collision with a UHP trooper car.

Amazingly, no one was injured in the chase.
