WEST HAVEN, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say an allegation of stolen beer from a weekend party sparked a brawl that involved about 50 people.
One man had a fractured skull and another was stabbed during the melee early yesterday in West Haven. Both were taken to a hospital and are expected to recover.
The Weber County sheriff's office says the group that allegedly stole the beer left the party, then returned around 2 a.m.
A fight broke out and weapons, inlcuding a steel pipe, baseball bat, knife and pepper spray were used.
No charges have been filed. Investigators say it could take a few days to sort out what happened.
