(KSL News) -- Fire officials are investigating a small blaze at the State Capitol building currently under renovation.
A curtain caught fire in one of the rooms on the third floor, in the northeast corner of the Capitol.
Construction workers doused the flames before firefighters arrived.
Dennis McKone, SL County Fire: "There was minimal damage due to the fact that they're renovating this room. Also, it's not a historical room, not one of the historical rooms inside the capitol."
Fire crews stayed on the scene to mop up, and ventilate the heavy smoke.
