(KSL News) A pick- up hit two elderly people Friday night in Provo Canyon.
Troopers say Robert Dove and his wife were crossing State Road 189 to meet family members. Mr. Dove was thrown to the middle of the road and was flown to the hospital with very critical injuries.
His wife sustained minor injuries.
The family was gathering to honor Dove's grandson, who was killed in an accident a few miles up the canyon earlier this year.
