Carole Mikita Reporting Three mothers, four babies, one big happy family – it’s a story of the well-timed deliveries.
Brinley Hansen, Lexus and Lacy Dunwalder and Heaton Dorris, all cousins born within days of each other.
Gina Dorris, Delivered boy November 30: “It’s fun, it’s nice, it’s real homey, that’s for sure.”
Amy Dunwalder, Delivered Twins 11/30/04: "Big benefit is you can walk into the nursery and know that you can walk up and say, hey, this one's related, yeh."
An aunt and her nieces, who are sisters, surprised one another with the news that they were each expecting. The next surprise, doctor's appointments on the same day. The third surprise, when they began arriving at the hospital one right after the other, starting with Kara.
Kara Hansen, Delivered girl November 25: “My sister just brought us Thanksgiving dinner. Me and my husband just ate together and that was that. It was fun.”
Actually better than any amount of turkey, and one more thing that keeps this in the same family, all of these little bundles were delivered by the same doctor.
The nursery will be slightly smaller tomorrow, baby Brinley is leaving. The others will stay for a few days.
