(KSL News) Two snowmobilers are safe after spending several hours in the frigid mountains of Summit County.

The search was centered in the Bear River area, just south of the Wyoming border.

The husband and wife were due back at 4:00 in the afternoon. No one heard from them, so rescuers and a UHP helicopter were called in to search for the two.

Shortly after 11:30 last night, the couple was found. They had made it to the Mirror Lake Warming Hut in Kamas. Besides being cold, both were in good condition.
