ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Talk about a Grinch.

Someone has stolen the plastic figurine of the baby Jesus from the nativity at Metcalf Mortuary in St. George.

Employees realized yesterday morning that a crucial part of their nativity scene was missing when a candy cane and lollipops were found in the place of the baby Jesus and attached manger.

Owner Ron Metcalf says it wasn't until later in the day that he realized he had paid so much attention to the missing baby Jesus, that he didn't realize a sheep was also missing.

He says he'll eventually have to replace the missing baby Jesus if it isn't returned.

But it would be too late this year.

He's gonna leave the spot empty, in hopes that someone would return the lamb and manager and baby.
