SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A winter storm is moving into northern Utah -- and it could bring a foot of snow for the mountains.
The northern valleys could see four-to-eight inches of snow. The National Weather Service put out a winter storm warning for the next 36 hours.
The snow was set to fall later this morning, getting heavier this afternoon and evening. High winds out of the southwest will make for blowing and drifting snow.
The Wasatch Front from about Ogden north into Idaho will see the most snow.
