SALT LAKE CITY (AP/KSL News) -- Utah defensive coordinator Kyle Whittingham was NOT at practice today.
It was expected he'd lead the Utes in preparation for the Fiesta Bowl, because head coach Urban Meyer is in Florida, and offensive coordinator Mike Sanford has left for UNLV.
Since Whittingham is gone, he still hasn't publicly commented on media reports that he's been offered the head coaching job at both Utah and Brigham Young University.
Some reports said Utah wanted Whittingham's answer today. He's also NOT returning phone calls.
