(KSL News) -- West Valley City police have released the names of the people involved in a high speed chase yesterday.

Brad Moore was arrested for driving a stolen car and dealing drugs.

A police officer was on his way to work, when he noticed a suspicious car on California Avenue. He ran the plates and found out it was stolen. He called for back-up and tried to pull Moore over, but Moore took off.

Moore led police on a chase with speeds reaching 85 miles an hour. Eventually, Moore slowed down and bailed out along California Avenue. Police had to stop his car while it was still moving.

Sgt. Randy Maurer, West Valley Police Dept.: "The officer in the front vehicle jumped out of his car, jumped into the white suspect vehicle and stopped it."

Moore was caught a short time later in a field. Police found meth and heroin in his car.

Angelita Guzman was sitting in the front passenger seat throughout the chase and was still in the car when Moore jumped out. Guzman was also arrested.
