(KSL News) -- Another headache commute for drivers this morning as nine cars were involved in three accidents on Interstate 15.

Several Accidents Cause I-15 Delays

Troopers say the trio of wrecks happened one right after another on northbound I-15 lanes around 90th South.

The first wreck involved three cars and two semis. The second involved two cars. Then, there was a hit and run involving a Salt Lake City police car.

No one was hurt in any of the crashes.

The wrecks snarled traffic and closed three lanes.

Authorities aren't sure how the chain reaction began, but they suspect drivers were following too closely.
