(KSL News) -- Here's a warning to all drivers planning to be out on the roads this holiday season.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers will be working overtime during the next couple of weeks, hoping to bust drunk drivers, and even any drowsy drivers out there.

In some areas, authorities will work about 13-hundred extra hours. Federal funds are paying for the overtime.

The U-H-P blitz is a part of "National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month."
