(KSL News) -- Some employees at Utah Power discovered a dead body in the Jordan River this afternoon.
Police say the employees were checking the fence line behind the Utah Power plant when they saw the body on the west bank of the river.
Officers responded and found what they believe is the body of an adult male.
Homicide detectives are now trying to determine the cause of the death. Police believe the man died at least a month ago.
