SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Seven people are accused of clubbing and killing a shed full of turkeys in Sanpete County.

An anonymous tip led investigators to the four men and three juveniles charged in the February killings.

The seven allegedly got their vehicle stuck near a Fountain Green farm with a turkey shed.

While it was being dug out, they allegedly entered the shed and began clubbing the turkeys, breaking their necks. Twelve-hundred turkeys died -- some of heart attacks because of the commotion.

Martin Smith, Cody Long, Travis Argyle and Colton Belliston, all 18, each face one count of criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

The three juveniles face the same charges.
