(KSL News) -- An early morning domestic dispute in the town of Liberty escalated into a standoff with authorities.
Weber County Sheriff's deputies say Shelby Leo violated a protective order and went to his ex-wife's house. They had an argument, Leo threatened her with a gun and said he would have a shoot out with police.
After one of his children called 9-1-1 the SWAT team arrived and Leo's ex-wife and kids were released. Leo stayed inside the house for six hours. He finally came out screaming.
Police shot him with a non-lethal bean bag gun and arrested him.
