HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah (AP)-- Family and friends will welcome back hundreds of Utah airmen today, after spending months in Iraq.

More than 100 maintenance professionals from the 388th Fighter Wing will return from their deployment to Balad Air Base, Iraq.

Back in August, the airmen were sent to maintain security and stability in the region by providing close air support for coalition ground troops.

The group is scheduled to arrive at the Hill Air Force Base at 12:25 p.m.
