SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Police are looking for a man being dubbed as the "suntan" robber.

Officers say the suspect allegedly went on a spree last night, holding up three tanning salons in just over an hour.

The robberies began around six o'clock last night. The first one happened at Suntan Company near 2100 South and 700 East.

Then at seven p-m he robbed the Treasure Island Tanning in Midvale. 15 minutes later, the suspect held-up Sunbeam Tanning in Sandy.

All three businesses say the robber pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded all the money in the register.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid 20's, about 5'10" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black coat and gloves.
