MEADOW, Utah (AP) -- A 21-year-old West Valley man is dead after an early-morning traffic accident.

It happened around five-thirty this morning on I-15 northbound near Meadow, which is about halfway between Salt Lake and St. George.

Police say the victim, Jeremiah Austin Farnswoth, was killed after he was hit by a semi, while he was standing by his parked S-U-V along the road.

The driver of the semi, 51-year-old Rand Edward Williams of Cedar City, was not hurt. Police are investigating the accident to decide whether criminal charges will be filed against Williams.
