Web Site Puts You in Contact with Lawmakers

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A new web site designed to help improve the communication line between lawmakers and the public in now launched.

The site provides lawmakers with e-mails of interested constituents.

Residents can subscribe to the site for free and select which legislators they want to receive notes, reports and surveys from.

So far, House Speaker Greg Curtis is the only lawmaker signed up.

The Web site also gives viewers the chance to look at previously published reports by participating lawmakers.
