(KSL News) A tip leads to a meth bust in Davis County.
Davis Metro Narcotics officers got a tip about possible drug activity in a Woods Cross neighborhood. They had enough probable cause to get a warrant. They searched the house, but found nothing inside.
But inside the trunk of a car parked outside, an undercover officer who wishes to stay annoymous tells us they discovered a boxed meth lab.
"This is a pretty small lab, probably capable of cooking amounts of about an ounce of finished product."
The woman who owns the car was arrested. Hazmat crews spent much of the night going through the chemicals to make sure it posed no health hazards to nearby residents.
