(KSL News)--The man who allegedly took several hostages at a Heber City medical clinic now faces criminal charges.
Police charged 35-year old Royal Giles with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, and impersonation of an officer.
Giles allegedly pulled a gun on a patient at the Wasatch Medical Clinic Tuesday and identified himself as an officer. Police convinced him to turn himself in about a half an hour later.
