(KSL News) -- A former high school counselor accused of sexual misconduct with a student made a plea agreement today.

34-year-old Curtis Scott Ward pleaded guilty to two second-degree counts of unlawful sexual conduct.

Police say Ward had sex with a 17-year-old student while he worked as a counselor at Northridge High School in Layton.

Investigators say it happened multiple times, both at Ward's home and at school.

A sentencing hearing will be held in May.
