(KSL News) -- A construction worker is in critical condition after falling 14 to 15 feet from a ladder this afternoon.

The 25-year old man was life-flighted to the University of Utah Hospital after falling from scaffolding.

Salt Lake County Sheriff's officers were not sure what caused the fall, they say the man was an electrician working with air compression equipment.

The Sheriff's office is still investigating the cause of the fall.
