PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Family and friends of L-D-S scholar Hugh Nibley will say their final goodbyes today.

A funeral service will be held this afternoon at one p-m in the Provo Tabernacle.

Former Brigham Young University presidents and several General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are expected to attend the services.

A statement from the First Presidency of the L-D-S Church will also be presented.

The funeral will air in the Harris Fine Arts Center at B-Y-U to accommodate university students and faculty.
