SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The F-B-I's investigation into two Utah bank robberies is closed, after they linked the crimes to a man killed last week by officers.
Police said 40-year-old Bruce H. Cleveland fired at officers, who then returned fire, killing him at his Orem home.
Officers said they traced Cleveland to his home after he robbed a bank in Pleasant Grove last week.
F-B-I agents said Cleveland has been linked to the two other robberies in Utah. One at the Bank of Utah in Sandy on November 29th and another at Utah Community Credit Union in Springville on January 13th.
The F-B-I said similar clothing was worn by the robber, along with similar weapons and method was used in all three robberies.
