SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Four players have been reprimanded for altercations in last weekend's game between rivals Utah and Brigham Young.
Austin Ainge from BYU and Utah's Andrew Bogut, Richard Chaney and Marc Jackson received the public reprimands yesterday from the Mountain West Conference.
MWC said the players violated the conference's sportsmanship policy.
Each of the players will face stiffer penalties next time they're involved in an altercation.
Conference officials said last Saturday, Jackson initiated physical contact with Ainge, who responded back with physical contact.
Bogut then initiated physical contact with Ainge. Later in the game, Chaney made physical contact with an opposing player.
