(KSL News) -- The man who stabbed two women on a hiking trail last summer could spend the rest of his life in prison.
Gordon Thomas was sentenced to 15 years to life for aggravated kidnapping and five years to life for the two counts of attempted aggravated murder.
Last July he stabbed two girls who were on a hiking trip above Ogden with their mother. Thomas had just finished serving a 21-year prison sentence for sexual assault. He had run away from a halfway house, a week before the attack.
