(KSL News) An update this morning on a SWAT team standoff in a Salt Lake City neighborhood. Police say they were able to catch their man.
Officers with Adult Probation and Parole tried to serve a man with a felony warrant last night, but he barricaded himself inside his home at 2470 S. 540 East.
Police thought he might be armed, so they evacuated nearby houses, and SWAT teams moved in. Authorities thought Shane Shields had somehow escaped, but he was actually still inside the home.
After a search, officers found him in the attic, and he was arrested.
