(KSL News) -- Today was a very special day here at Broadcast House.
Old friends like Bob Welti and Paul James dropped by to celebrate a milestone -- Dick Nourse's 65th birthday.
Employees from all over KSL came to the newsroom and so did Utah's Governor!
Governor Jon M. Huntsman Jr.: "...Whereas despite the anchor teams from other stations that have tried to knock him out of the top spot in the ratings -Dick has outlasted them all- whereas he has reported the news throughout eight presidential administrations and six Utah governors, even I grew up watching you..."
After a couple more 'wherases' the Governor declared today "Dick Nourse Appreciation Day."
There was a big cake, a big card and a chance for all of us to tell the big guy just how much he's loved around here.
