(KSL News) -- Cheers of joy filled the Salt Lake airport tonight. Seven Hill Air Force Base airmen are home safe.
They've been driving convoys in Iraq for eight months and admit it was an unusual and high-risk job.
Staff Sgt. William Rogan: "It's something that we would never had done without this stuff going on. I think this is the first time the Air Force has done this since Vietnam."
Now these airmen are assigned to a more pleasant task, reuniting with family.
