(KSL News) -- Gunfire cut through an otherwise quiet evening in South Salt Lake over night as a party turned violent.
Police say several young people were drinking outside of an abandoned home when a man fired six gunshots near the garage. No one was hit directly, but fragments lodged in the chin and arm of one 14-year-old girl.
The shooter quickly drove away. Police have no description on him or his car.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and is in good condition.
