(KSL News) -- An elderly man accidentally crashed his car into a building at 2920 S. Highland Drive.
Police say as the man tried to make a left turn, he pulled right in front of a dump truck. The truck was closer than the man anticipated and it clipped his car.
The man then panicked and drove right off the side of the road and into a Veterans of Foreign Wars building. He also hit a gas meter, causing a gas leak.
The building suffered some major damage, but no one was injured.
