(KSL News) Kamas police officers had to arrest their own police chief!
Officers responded to Chief Eric Ovard's home after a 911 call. Ovard apparently had an argument with his adult step-daughter.
Some minor injuries were involved, and Ovard was arrested for assault. He has been released on bail.
The case has been turned over to another jurisdiction, to avoid any conflict of interest.
