CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Family and friends are making funeral arrangements for a Cedar City family killed in head-on collision over the weekend near Las Vegas.

Deputies say, 31-year-old Steve Smith, 28-year-old Amber Miller Smith and their nine-week-old daughter, Opal May were killed in an accident on U-S 95 near Indian Springs, Nevada.
Officers say, a man fleeing police in the opposite direction slid across traffic lanes and collided head-on with the family's S-U-V.
The man fleeing police was 20-year-old Clark McBride of Las Vegas, who was also killed in crash. A Las Vegas police officer was also injured.
Amber's aunt said the Smith family had been visiting Amber's parents in Las Vegas.
According to family members, the funeral services will be held Monday and Tuesday of next week in Panguitch.
