(KSL News) -- A Provo police officer shot and killed two pitbulls this afternoon.
A father called police, saying the dogs tried to attack him and his daughter. When officers arrived they tried to distract the pit bulls, but say the animals bared their teeth, growled, and charged at them.
One of the officers drew his gun and shot both dogs.
