ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Police are gearing up for Spring Break crowds this weekend.

They expect the same number of visiting teens and students in St. George as in the past years.

St. George Police Spokesman Craig Harding says although the numbers seemed to be dwindling in recent history, judging by the crowds the number of visitors is NOT going down.

Harding said anywhere between ten-thousand and 15-thousand people are expected this weekend. He said the St. George Spring Break has become a routine for officers. They don't take vacation days and they get overtime.

Harding said the same road restrictions used in previous years will be enforced again this year.

Last year, Harding said there were 288 arrests -- 130 of which were juveniles.
