(KSL News) -- There's been another dog attack in Salt Lake County and this one cost a woman her toe.

It happened in West Valley. The woman was apparently trying to break up a fight between her dogs when one of them bit her.

Lt. Bill Froehlich, West Valley Police Dept.: "She decided to put her foot in between the dogs to stop the fighting. However, one of the dogs took exception to that and bit her on the foot, cutting one of her toes off."

The woman went to the hospital to reattach her toe. Both of the dogs have been quarantined.
