(KSL News) -- A fallen solider was honored today at BYU.

31-year old Captain Bill Jacobsen was killed in Iraq on December 21st when a bomber hit a dining facility in Mosul. Today family and friends met to remember him.

Captain Jacobsen was a graduate of BYU and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army through BYU's Army ROTC Program.

Captain Jacobsen's name will be officially added to the BYU Memorial Wall.
