Uintah County, Utah (AP) -- A Vernal boy was killed after he lost control of his four-wheeler and tumbled down an embankment.
It happened Saturday afternoon in the Honda Hills area north of Vernal.
Authorities said the A-T-V landed on 12-year-old Chase McCleary at one point during the fall. He finally landed about 17-feet down the embankment.
Utah State Park Ranger Jason Stubblefield said the boy's father and brother witnessed the fatal accident. He said they were riding behind him on a dirt road.
