(KSL News) -- Forty members of the Utah National Guard are happy to be home. The 211th Aviation Battalion was away for more than a year, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Their assignments took them throughout the country.

Spc. Coban Fife: "Good to be home. I never thought I'd miss the US so much until I left."

Heather Fife: "I've had butterflies all day just trying to get here. I'm so excited that he's home."

The Utah National Guard says these troops are home for good. More from the 211th will be returning home in a few weeks.
