(KSL News) -- It’s official, BYU Head basketball coach Steve Cleveland is leaving BYU to become the head coach at Fresno State.

Cleveland has been speaking with the search committee in Fresno. Today they offered him the job and he accepted. The deal is reportedly a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal that will likely double his annual salary from the BYU Cougars.
Cleveland is from Fresno and coached there on the Junior College level before coming to Provo, where he has been the head coach for the past eight years.
