(KSL News) Lots of snow in Utah's mountains, but five ski resorts called it a season today!

The Canyons, Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Brian Head and Powder Mountain are shutting down. And all report the best seasons in recent history.

Krista Parry/ Spokeswoman, Park City Mountain Resort: "On athe weather channl, on CNN, everywhere-- it's been 'Utah has the snow.' I mean dump after dump, it was Utah that was getting hit."

Katie Eldridge/ The Canyons Ski Resort: "We're skiing the whole mountain today and saying goodbye. But it's been the best season in a long time."

Poor snowfall in other states made Utah the place to be for skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. Other Utah resorts will close over the next three weeks.
