SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The wife of a prominent polygamist is scheduled to be in court today over the custody of her children.
Today's hearing will determine if Heidi Mattingly can regain custody of her eleven children she has with polygamist John Daniel Kingston.
Eight of the children were taken into state custody last October. Two were removed in June -- one of which has been permanently place with an aunt.
The couple's youngest child is in Mattingly's custody.
The case against the couple began last year when a judge ruled two of their teen girls were abused.
Today's hearing is scheduled at 1:30 p-m at the Matheson Courthouse.
