(KSL News) -- An accident at a Salt Lake manufacturing plant nearly tore a worker's arms off today.
California Packaging uses large machines to press cardboard. Somehow an employee got between two of the presses. He put his hands up onto the machines, and the rollers on the presses began pulling in his hands and then his arms.
They eventually crushed both arms up to his shoulders. He was concious the entire time and told police what happened before he was flown to the hospital.
Investigators don't know why he was between the machines.
