CORINNE, Utah (AP) -- A father accused of shooting his son has been arraigned in 1st District Court.

Michael J. Bradford, was arraigned Monday on a first-degree felony charge of attempted homicide and a third-degree felony charge of assaulting a police officer. Bail was set at $100,000.

His arrest followed a domestic dispute Saturday night in Corinne that also involved his wife and his 20-year-old son.

Box Elder County Chief Deputy Sheriff Lynn Yeates said the son had been shot by a large-caliber gun. The slug hit the young man in the stomach. He remains in critical condition at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

Bradford also is accused of striking a police officer.
