WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congressman Jim Matheson's chief of staff will leave Utah this week to become a Washington lobbyist.
A Matheson spokesperson says after eight years of service Stacey Alexander is leaving to work for a small boutique lobbying firm.
That doesn't mean she'll push her former boss for anything anytime soon, though. House rules prevent her from lobbying Matheson's office for one year following the end of her employment.
