PROVO, Utah (AP) -- The Marriott School of Business at BYU is among the top 50 collegiate entrepreneurship programs in the nation.

That's according to the April 2005 issue of Entrepreneur magazine.

In its annual ranking, Brigham Young University was named in the top tier for the second time in three years. The University of Utah ranked in the third tier.

Donald Livingstone, director of the BYU Center for Entrepreneurship, said there are a lot of entrepreneurial activities on campus, including the largest business plan competition in the country. He said student teams have even received national recognition in some of the competitions.

Techknowledge Point Corporation of Santa Barbara, California ranks the schools.
