Three Snow College Athletes Arrested for Assault

MOUNT PLEASANT, Utah (AP) -- Three Snow College athletes will be expelled and one faces disciplinary action after they were arrested over the weekend.

Badger football players Richard Beltram, Alex Furness and Aramis Peoples and basketball player Rawley Loutensock on Sunday.

Mount Pleasant Sergeant Lance Graham said the four were in Triangle Lounge and Office when they had a dispute with a 35-year-old male patron.

Graham said the disagreement moved outside and the four assaulted the man on a sidewalk up the street from the lounge.

Graham said police later pulled over the four athletes. He said the driver, Beltram, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Beltram has been charged with assault and D-U-I. The other three are charged with assault and minors in possession of alcohol.
