CEDAR FORT, Utah (AP) -- Heavy rains flooded Cedar Fort streets and caused minor flooding in two basements last night.

Volunteer fire chief Mike Penovich says the runoff brought gravel, rocks and debris onto many roads.

Firefighters and volunteers filled 300 sandbags between five p.m. and nine p.m., but they turned out not to be needed and were put into storage.

Flash floods last July 17th damaged at least 18 homes and causing 350 thousand dollars in damages.
